Dr. Carol Grace
Dr. Carol Grace is a board certified family physician with extensive experience in the full spectrum of office and hospital based family medicine to include obstetrics, pediatric, adult medicine, geriatrics as well as emergency medicine. She graduated from Kansas University School of Medicine in 1992 and completed a 3 year residency in Family Practice in 1995. Over the years, she has worked in various office and hospital settings all over the United States to include rural and metropolitan areas.
After becoming dissatisfied with traditional medicine, she transitioned to Emergency Medicine in 2009, then opened a successful aesthetic practice in 2013 in Colonial Heights, Virginia. During this time she was introduced to the concept of practicing cutting edge medicine for optimal health and vitality, as well as treating complex diseases by an integrative/functional approach. One can enjoy great health without taking a long list of prescription medications which, in many cases, makes people feel worse instead of better! This concept became so appealing to Dr. Grace that she made the life-changing decision to further her education and enrolled in the Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine Fellowship through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine which will also lead to Board Certification through the American Board of Anti-Aging/Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. Grace has a revived love affair with practicing medicine again utilizing a cutting-edge integrative/functional approach to diagnose, treat and more importantly prevent disease states that lead to diabetes, heart disease, thyroid disease, autoimmune disorders, hormone dysfunction, obesity and all types of cancer. Practicing this type of medicine will compliment her aesthetic practice beautifully and will lead to happier, healthier clients.
